Recap of the Major League Soccer Stadium Tour

We are halfway through the Major League Soccer Stadium Tour (until expansion teams join in 2020), so here’s a quick recap of the teams and the stadiums we have seen on the MLS Stadium Tour thus far, along with the other teams we saw through the years.

MLS teams as of the 2020 season. Checkmarks indicate those we have visited.

Official MLS Stadium Tour Visits

  1. Seattle Sounders: The March to the Match is a must for any soccer fan. Incredible game experience.Major League Soccer Stadium Tour to Seattle
  2. Portland Timbers: The Timbers Army rocks.
  3. Sporting KC: Welcome to Blue Hell. Great fans.Sporting Park exterior
  4. Los Angeles Galaxy: It’s a star-studded spectacular.

  5. Houston Dynamo: Devoted fan base but the rest of the stadium is pretty quiet.
  6. San Jose Earthquakes: WOW! So impressive, but I’m pretty sure I climbed a mountain to get to my seat.
  7. Philadelphia Union: Are we anywhere near Philly?
  8. Orlando City: THE WALL. It’s purple and it’s awesome. Now start winning!

9. Atlanta United: Breaking attendance records left and right! Great traditions already for a new team.

There are a few stadiums we have visited that haven’t been part of the “official” MLS Stadium Tour. Here is a recap of those visits:

Other MLS Stadium Visits

Columbus Crew: What happened? But you were the first soccer-specific stadium, so you get a pass. #saveDthecrew

Chicago Fire: Bubble soccer! Also, parking nightmare.

FC Dallas: Best Customer Service. But where is everybody?

FC Cincinnati: Welcome to MLS! This isn’t an official visit until you get your own stadium, but keep it rockin’! Also, start winning.

Planning for 2020 is already underway, and we hope to visit Colorado for the official stadium tour and pick up another team or two along the way – maybe Montreal and Minnesota? We do know that the Major League Soccer Stadium Tour will continue for many more years as the league expands and new stadiums are built. Can’t wait to see more!
