Cookies and Cream Berlin

Aside from my love of history, the real reason that Berlin made the top of my list of places to travel is that my super adorable cousin lives there, and I wanted to visit her. She just opened up a shop – Cookies and Cream Berlin – that I had been following on Facebook and I needed to see it. She also has a man that I hadn’t met, and being the nosy person that I am, I had to make sure he was good enough for my cousin.
(Side note- there are now three of the cousins from that side of the family living outside of the US for non-military reasons. Wanderlust must run in the family).
We ended up staying with my cousin in her lovely (and huge!) apartment in Berlin, and it just happens to be across the street from where the Berlin Wall Memorial starts, so that worked out nicely. She had to work in her shop, so that left Hubby and I free to wander Berlin doing touristy things. But we had to make a stop first…

Cookies and Cream is inside a kitchen store called Kochtail (which is also very cute). Cookies and Cream sells cookies (duh!) and ice cream, cookie sandwiches, coffee drinks, and freshly-squeezed lemonade. These are some of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten and I’m not just saying that because this is my cousin. No really, they are.
Update: Cookies and Cream has moved! It now has its very own shop, an expanded menu, and can be found at: Kremmener Straße 8, Berlin, Germany – right along the historic Berlin Wall path. Check it out!
